Is my skin care regimen working? We look in the mirror everyday so it becomes difficult to have meaningful comparisons and a true assessment to measure treatment progress. Visia’s scan allows us an indepth look so we are able to customize and treat. It allows us to monitor the effectiveness of prescribed treatment with visibility to see what we cannot see with the naked eye.
Our mission is to deliver results, which makes a quantitative analysis and visual assessment so important. We can provide numerical data for clear and easy comparisons so you can see the benefits of your skin care treatments, track your progress, and measure treatment outcomes over time.
Visia facial analysis determines the patient's overall skin condition, providing a revolutionary new metric technology. We are able to record and measure surface and subsurface skin conditions to provide the most complete data set available for assessment and analysis.
The technology allows unequaled visualization of conditions that result in color concentration, such as spider veins, hyperpigmentation, inflammation - and provide a quantitative analysis of your skin.
Typically brown or red skin marks, distinguishable by the distinct color and contrast from the background skin tone. Spots vary in size and shape, and are normally visible to the naked eye. Large, diffused darker brown areas may also indicate unevenness in skin tone. Surface spots are outlined in blue within the area analyzed.
Furrows, folds or creases in the skin that can increase as a result of sun exposure and are associated with a decrease in skin elasticity. Wrinkles are identified by their characteristic long, narrow shape and range from fine lines to deeper wrinkles. Fine lines are depict ed in light green, while deeper wrinkles are outlined in dark green.
Raised and depressed areas that indicate variations on the skin surface affecting skin smoothness. Raised areas are in yellow and depressed areas are in blue.
Circular surface openings of sweat gland ducts. Due to shadowing, enlarged pores appear darker than the surrounding skin tone and are identified by the darker color and circular shape. Outlined areas identify enlarged pores Each pore is outlined in dark blue.
The absorption of UV light by epidermal melanin just below the skin surface results in the display and detection of UV spots that can result from sun damage. Outlined features identify the epidermal spots that absorb UV light. The UV spots are identified by yellow circles.
Pigmentation and discoloration on and beneath the surface of the skin. Though the total image appears with an overall brown hue, the areas of concern are concentrated darker brown spots.
Concentrated darker red areas. Blood vessels and hemoglobin in the papillary dermis, a sub-layer of the skin, gives these structures the red color. Red areas may be related to variety of conditions such as inflammation, spider veins, or broken capillaries.
Bacterial excretions that can become lodged in pores and lead to acne.
