What is LightStim?

How does it work?
LightStim for Wrinkles utilizes multiple wavelengths of amber, red, and infrared LEDs. The LED light penetrates the top layer of skin and yields the visible reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

How often do I need to use it?
We suggest using your light 5-7 days a week, 4 minutes per area.
Can I use my existing skin care products?
Yes! LightStim had help with the absorbing of your skincare serums enhancing results. You can even apply most anti-aging serums and moisturizers before using your LightStim. However, products that can cause dryness or irritation such as benzoyl peroxide, Retin-A, or products containing Vitamin A or alcohol should only be applied after using your LightStim.
PRE-TREATMENT
- Please do not use any ingredient known to cause dryness or irritation, even vitamin C should be avoided).
- Photosensitizing medications including doxycycline and minocycline should be discontinued three days prior to the treatment.
- Do not use self-tanning lotions prior to your treatment
- Do not use any irritating skin care products such as Retin-A (triretinoin) or any face cream supplement that contains Glyquin for one week prior to treatment.
- The lightstim LED bed cannot be used if you are pregnant or nursing.
Contraindications. LightStim is not recommended if the following apply to you:
- Extreme sensitivity to light - migraines brought on by bright light
- Use of photosensitizing drugs
- Melasma or hyperpigmentation (especially if exacerbated by mild warmth)
- Suspicious lesions or skin cancer - please visit your physician
- Accutane should be discontinued 6 months in advance of treatment
- Clients who are being treated for any type of serious health condition or who are pregnant should seek the approval of their personal physician before undergoing any new treatment of any kind.

- Currently taking steroids or cortisone injections
